Account Termination in Proberix

If you have the appropriate permissions as a user with the Administrator or Owner role, you can terminate an account in Proberix by following this step:

  • Go to Account > Settings > Terminate Account to access the termination options for your account.

Prerequisites for Account Termination

Before you can terminate an account, ensure the following conditions are met:

  • Subscription Cancellation: Ensure that any active subscriptions are canceled. This step is necessary to prevent further billing or charges associated with the account.
  • Probe Deletion: All probes associated with the account must be deleted. This ensures that no ongoing monitoring activities are tied to the account after it has been terminated.

Important Considerations

  • Account Termination:

    • Once the account is terminated, it will be permanently closed, and all associated data will be deleted. However, this action does not delete the user's profile (user account).
  • User Profile Retention:

    • Even after the account is terminated, the user's profile remains active. The user can switch to a different account if they have access to others or create a new account if none exists.

Deleting a User Profile

If you need to delete your user profile (user account) entirely, refer to the documentation for User Deletion. Account termination and user profile deletion are separate actions; terminating an account does not remove your personal user profile from Proberix.

By following this step, you can securely terminate an account in Proberix while maintaining control over your user profile and any other accounts you may have access to.
