Subscription and Billing in Proberix
The Subscription and Billing section in Proberix provides an overview of how plans and billing work within the platform. Here’s what you need to know:
Plan Structure
All Proberix plans include access to the full set of features available on the platform. This means that there are no feature limitations between different plans. The primary differences between plans are based on:
- Number of Probes: The total number of probes that can be configured and monitored.
- SMS Message Count: The monthly quota of SMS messages included with the plan.
- Number of Add-On Features: The availability of additional features that can be added based on your plan.
Trial Period and Probe Monitoring
When your trial period ends, any active probes will be paused, and monitoring will be halted. During this time, no data will be collected until you subscribe to a plan. This ensures that you can retain your monitoring configurations while deciding on the appropriate plan to continue using Proberix.
SMS Messages
Monthly Quota
Each plan includes a monthly quota of SMS messages that can be used for alerting. This quota resets on the 1st of each month. If your account exceeds the allocated number of SMS messages within a month, SMS alerting will stop unless you have reserved SMS credits available.
Reserved SMS Credits
Reserved SMS credits are additional message credits that can be purchased separately. Unlike the monthly quota, these credits do not expire at the end of the month and will remain available until they are used.
For example, if your account has a monthly quota of 96 SMS messages and 100 reserved SMS credits, any SMS messages sent beyond the 96-message monthly quota will start to consume the reserved credits. This allows you to continue receiving SMS alerts even after exceeding your monthly limit, ensuring that critical notifications are not missed.
Managing Your Subscription
You can manage your subscription, including upgrading or downgrading your plan, through the Subscription and Billing section of your account settings. Here, you can also purchase additional SMS credits and view your billing history.
